a. A Bachelor’s degree in Regional Planning from a recognized University / Institution
OR
b. An Honours or General degree in any discipline with minimum one year prior learning / working experience related to Regional Planning
OR
c. Postgraduate Diploma (SLQF 8) from a recognized University / Institution or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Faculty Board and Senate
AND
d. Professional qualification in Regional Planning from a recognized professional body with minimum one year experience in Public Administration

At registration / beginning of first semester – Rs.95,000.00
Beginning of second semester – Rs.90,000.00
(Course fee may be paid in full or in two installments)

Application forms may be obtained in person from the Faculty of Graduate Studies on submission of the deposited bank slip for Rs.1,000/- to the University Collection Account Number 162100310000891 using the reference number 190042740002706 at the People’s Bank.

Downloaded application forms must be submitted with the payment receipt to the same account and reference number.

Completed applications should be sent to the Senior Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna, Thirunelvely by registered post or by hand on or before the closing date. The envelope should be marked “Application for Master of Regional Planning – 2026”.

Please pay at any branch of the People’s Bank using the usual deposit slip.

Keep a photocopy of the deposit slip for future reference.
