It combines the strengths of\n the social sciences and humanities, drawing on literary studies, sociology, media\n studies, history, anthropology, art history, political science, and economics.\n <\/p>\n <p>\n The MCST programme offered by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna,\n extends space for discourse on culture and research opportunities with respect to\n Sri Lanka\u2019s cultural diversity within global contexts.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n \n <div class=\"card\">\n <h3>Programme Background<\/h3>\n <p>\n The Master of Arts (MA) in Cultural Studies, now referred to as the\n <strong>Master of Cultural Studies (MCST)<\/strong>, is one of the oldest postgraduate\n programmes offered by the Faculty of Graduate Studies since 2004.\n <\/p>\n <p>\n The programme has been successfully conducted in three batches.
